Steel Woodturning Tool Handles

Handles are made from steel and black powder coated sleeved in a rubber comfort grip

Each end is drilled to a depth of approx 75mm.

To take ½” 17mm, 3/8” 13mm and ¼” 10mm gouges held by M8 Studs. (Gouges not included)

They can also be used to hold hollowing tools and parting tools.

Long handle weight 4lb 4oz approx (1900g) 400mm long

Short Handle weight 3lb 4oz approx (1600g) 300mm

I use these handles as I find them great for damping the vibration from heavy or uneven weight.

Tools Sharpening Jig and long grind tool holder

The jig is made from steel and black powder coated consisting of an H frame to be fitted under your grinding wheel. I suggest a White or a Ruby stone are best for grinding woodturning tools.

There are two cradles included to slide into the H frame I have made a small version for where grinders are against the wall and space is tight. This is ideal to use with the tool holder for creating swept back grinds on your bowl and spindle gouges.

The long cradle is ideal for grinding Spindle roughing gouges, Traditional Bowl Gouges, Traditional Spindle gouge, parting tools and skews along with many specialist tools such as bead forming tools.

Included in full pack is:

1. Long and short cradle
2. H Frame and Thumb screws
3. Swept back grind tool holder
